The Foundation
The Montes Alti Foundation, established in June 2013 at the initiative of Mrs. Dinara Kulibayeva, aims to promote the education of children and young adults at the local level.
In a context where Geneva stands out for the richness and diversity of its projects and initiatives in the field of education, the Montes Alti Foundation considers that this collective momentum also calls for the engagement of the private sector, which is encouraged to contribute in a responsible and constructive manner. Its work is therefore guided by a principle of complementarity with existing frameworks, which it seeks to strengthen, enrich, or support without replacing them. In this regard, the Foundation identifies and supports specific needs as well as projects of public interest that are insufficiently addressed or require targeted assistance.
Its priority areas of action notably include the continuing education of teachers and young people, the promotion of innovation and creativity, and support for sports and artistic activities. Through its initiatives, the Foundation seeks to foster complementary educational approaches, encourage the emergence of new practices, and contribute to enhancing the existing range of opportunities.
Furthermore, the Foundation is engaged in prevention and support initiatives aimed at addressing certain challenges arising from societal developments, by developing targeted responses in coordination with institutional and non-profit stakeholders.
Established under Swiss law, the Montes Alti Foundation is subject to the supervision of the Supervisory Authority for Foundations and Pension Institutions.
